Using Link Builder to create deep links
Link Builder allows you to quickly generate affiliate links to promote advertiser products and pages. Simply provide a destination URL, and Link Builder creates an affiliate link containing your unique publisher tracking code.
Steps to create Deep Links
- Log in to the Awin platform and go to Toolbox > Link Builder.
- Alternatively, you can go to Advertisers > My Programmes, and under the column, click the orange ‘Promote’ button. This takes you to the Link Builder page.
- Select the advertiser you'd like to create the deep link for from the 'Joined' field.
Note: You can create deep links for programs you haven't joined if the advertiser offers instant approval. To do this, change the advertiser status to 'Not Joined' and select an advertiser. For more details, see Can I automatically join advertiser programs?
- Enter the destination URL you want to promote in the 'Destination URL' field. Make sure the URL is clean (i.e., without any existing tracking parameters such as
# or ? followed by tracking information).
Important: Avoid using URLs with:

- (Optional) Add any click or campaign parameters if you need additional tracking details. To learn more, see What is click reference and what can I use this for?.
- Click "Generate Link" to create your deep link.
Using Deep Link URLs, HTML, and QR Codes
To use the URL Link:
- Copy the URL link.
- Click Shorten Link for a more compact version.
- Paste it into your chosen location.
To use the HTML Link:
- Select the HTML tab.
- Enter your preferred link text in the 'Link Text' field.
- If you want the link to open in a new tab, select Open New Window.
- Copy the HTML code for your site.
To use a QR Code:
- Select Generate a QR code.
- A downloadable PNG code will appear.
- The code is printable and universally scannable.<
