The Click References Report provides aggregated statistics based on the ClickRef values in tracking links. Use this report to evaluate the performance of different linking methods or placement locations. Accessing the report
To access the ClickRef report, log in to the Awin platform and go to Reports > Click References.
Key details
- The report displays only the first 50 characters of each ClickRef. Longer ClickRefs are grouped together.
- Only the standard ClickRef value is included in this report; additional references like clickref2 are excluded.
- The 'Filter by Advertiser' option lists the advertisers you have an active partnership with.
- There is a limit of 20,000 unique ClickRefs per calendar month. If the total exceeds 20,000 unique ClickRefs in 30 days, the report is disabled.
Column descriptions
The Click References Report includes the following data points:
- Advertiser ID: The advertiser's unique identification number.
- Advertiser: The name of the advertiser's program.
- ClickRef: The unique reference assigned to each tracking link.
- Clicks: The total number of clicks recorded for the specified ClickRef.
- Quantity: The number of transactions generated through affiliate links containing the corresponding ClickRef.
- Amount: The total sales value of transactions driven by the ClickRef.
- Commission: The total commission earned from sales driven by the ClickRef.
Report options
You can customise the Click References Report using the following options:
- Period: Select a predefined date range, such as 'Quarter to Date' or 'Last Year'.
- From/To: Define the start and end dates for your report.
- Filter by ClickRef: Narrow the report to a specific ClickRef. Partial searches aren't suported.
- Filter by Advertiser: Focus the report on a specific advertiser you are partnered with.
- Region: If you partner with advertisers in multiple regions, you can view performance by region in the relevant currency (e.g. USD for the United States).
