How can I access a Product Feed? How to Download Data Feed?

You can access product data feeds in two ways: by downloading a CSV list, or by using Create-a-Feed. Both options allow you to view advertiser product data and tailor it to your needs.

Product Feed List download (recommended method)

The Product Feed List download gives you all the most recently updated data feeds you have access to.

To download a CSV list of your available product feeds, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Awin platform
  2. Go to Toolbox > Create-a-Feed
  3. Copy the download link using the following URL format, replacing '(your API key)' with your unique key: https://productdata.awin.com/datafeed/list/apikey/(your API key)

Note: The API key for product feeds is different from the Publisher API key.

For a detailed guide to downloading product feeds, see Product Feed List Download.

Using Create-a-Feed

To use Create-a-Feed to customise your product data feeds, log in to the Awin platform and complete the following steps:

  1. Go to Toolbox > Create-a-Feed
  2. Set your feed preferences:
    1. To filter feeds and products by language, use the 'Select Feed Language' drop down
    2. In the 'Categories' section, select the categories you want to see in your feed
    3. In the 'Select Advertisers' section, select from the list of advertisers. There are two feed formats, 'Legacy' (Awin data feed) and 'Enhanced' (Google feed format). In the 'Select' Dropdown, you can choose from the following options:
      1. To see all advertisers using the Legacy format, select 'All Legacy'
      2. To see all advertisers using the Enhanced format, select 'All Enhanced'

Note: You can only select enhanced format feeds using the 'Advertisers# section. Most advertisers using product data feeds have one feed which displays as 'Default', but they may also have separate feeds for different product ranges. For more information on the Google Shopping Format for product data feeds, see the Google Merchant Center.

    1. In the 'Brands' section, select the brands you want to see. To confirm your selections, click Next. The'Data feed Options' page loads.
  1. Configure columns:
    1. Choose individual columns or, to include every available column in the feed, select All. To see a brief description of a column, hover over the name.
  1. In the 'Data feed Properties' section at the bottom of the page, you can choose between the following two options:
    1. To download the data feed, select your preferred format (CSV, Excel or XML), confirm whether you wish to include adult content, and click Download data feed.
    2. To use the URL, select your file format preference, and copy/paste the URL into your browser.

Note: If any column appears empty, it means the information has not been provided by the advertiser.
