I already own a Payoneer account. Can I connect it to Awin?
No, it’s not possible to link an existing Payoneer account that was registered outside of Awin.
When you click "Set up Payoneer" in the orange banner in the Awin UI, you will be taken through a dedicated registration process that creates a Payoneer account linked specifically to your Awin publisher account. Even if you already have a Payoneer account for other purposes, you will need to complete this process to receive payments from Awin.
If you wish, you can use the same bank account details that you use for your other Payoneer account, but a separate Payoneer account for Awin is still required.
Can I use the Payoneer Wallet feature for my Awin payments?
No. It is not possible for your Awin payments to be stored in a Payoneer balance or wallet. All Awin payments are sent directly to your bank account via Payoneer as the payment provider.
Which currencies are available through Payoneer?
Depending on your country, the following currencies are available:
- Your local currency
- A major currency like USD, EUR, or GBP

How do I change my Payoneer account details?
For changes such as email address, company name, or business address, you must contact Payoneer. They will guide you through the process and may require documents to confirm account ownership to verify changes.
Some changes require you to re-register through the Awin Platform, including:
- Account type
- Account ownership
- Legal entity
- Company name

How do I change my Payoneer bank details?
Only the account owner can make changes to bank details.
To change your Payoneer bank details:
- Log in to the Awin Platform.
- Go to Account.
- Select Payment Details > Payments through Payoneer.
- Click Update Bank Account Details. The Payoneer account interface will open.
- Update your bank details and select Submit.
You will receive an email with further instructions finalising your request.

The account must be registered in the name of an authorised representative, such as the board member or the finance representative). You may need to provide proof of identification for security reasons.
How can I ensure I receive all important Payoneer communications?
Payoneer sends important updates to the email address used during registration. This should be an address accessible to the person managing payments.
For company accounts, we recommend using the email address of an authorised representative directly involved in payment processing, even if the account is registered under a board member’s name.
How long does Payoneer application approval take?
Most applications are approved within minutes. If additional information or documents are requested, approval may take up to 3 business days.
You’ll receive a confirmation email once your account is approved.
How do I know if my Payoneer account is active and ready to receive payments?
Check your account status in the Payment Details tab in the Awin Platform:
- Green: Your account is active, and you will receive payments through Payoneer.
- Amber: Your account is being reviewed by Payoneer.
- Red: Your application failed or was declined, and your payments may be affected.
Why does Payoneer request personal documents during registration?
As a security measure, Payoneer may request documents to verify your identity, bank details, and address. For more information, see Payoneer's Document Verification FAQ.
Why was my Payoneer application declined?
To find out why your application wasn't approved, refer to the email you received from Payoneer declining your application for the reason.
Note: Check the spam/trash folders of the email address you used for Payoneer registration if you cannot find the email.
My Payoneer application was declined. What should I do?

Will my Payoneer account automatically close if I leave Awin?
No. You must contact Payoneer directly to close your account and request data deletion.

Note: Only publishers who registered using a unique registration link provided by Awin before January 2022 have a Payoneer online account. We no longer issue registration links for Payoneer online accounts, and all registrations processes are completed through the Awin platform. Any changes to your payment information must be made directly within the Awin platform.
