When will I receive payment for approved transactions?

Understanding transaction and payment statuses helps you track where your earnings are in the payment process and identify what may be delaying payment.

Transaction statuses

Every tracked transaction moves through the following stages before payment.

  1. Pending review: The transaction was tracked and is awaiting validation by the advertiser.
  2. Approved: The advertiser confirmed the transaction is valid. The commission is approved but not ready to be paid yet.
  3. Payable: The commission is ready to be paid and will be included in the next payment run.

Important: Approved does not mean Payable. An approved transaction has been validated by the advertiser, but it will only become payable after Awin’s payment processing is completed.

If a transaction no longer appears as Pending review, it has either been approved or declined.

For more information on transaction reporting, see Publisher Transaction Report.

Payment widget overview

The Earnings Summary widget on the Dashboard provides a quick overview of your tracked earnings across different processing stages. It uses the same transaction statuses described above and includes visual indicators to help you understand your situation at a glance.

From the widget, you can:

  • Check your next payment date
  • See whether payment is blocked
  • Jump directly to your Transactions report, payment settings, or payment threshold settings

Payout statuses

Within the the Earnings Summary, the widget also uses color-coded indicators to display your current payout status and any required actions, if applicable:

  • Green: Your earnings are payable and ready for the next payment run. The next payment date is shown, and you can jump directly to your Transactions report for a full breakdown.
  • Amber: You haven't reached the minimum payout threshold yet. The widget shows exactly how much more you need, with a direct link to review your threshold settings.
  • Red: Payment is blocked due to incorrect payment details. You'll be prompted to fix this directly from the widget.

Multi-currency earnings

If you earn commissions in multiple currencies, the Earnings Summary widget automatically shows a summary of your earnings across all currencies. You can use the dropdown on the left to switch between currencies and view the payout status and requirements for each one individually.

What should I do next?

Use the table below to understand what each status means and whether you need to take any action.
