Entering your bank details correctly is essential to ensure your payments are processed successfully.

Even small errors, such as incorrect formats, missing digits, or mismatched account information, can cause payments to fail or be returned by your bank. This guide helps you check your details and enter them correctly based on your selected payment method.

To view and update your bank details, go to Account > Payment Details in the Awin platform.

Best practices

Make sure the following information is correct before submitting:

  • The account holder name closely matches the name registered with your bank

Note: Long names may be shortened due to bank character limits, but the surname should be clearly identifiable.

  • The currency matches your bank account currency
  • The bank country matches the location of your bank account
  • All details are entered exactly as provided by your bank
  • You are using a supported payment method in your country

If you’re unsure, confirm your details directly with your bank before saving them.

Entering details by payment method

SEPA (EUR payments)

For SEPA transfers, you must provide:

  • IBAN (International Bank Account Number)
  • BIC/SWIFT code (if required by your bank)

Before submitting:

  • Enter the IBAN exactly as provided by your bank, with no extra spaces or characters
  • Confirm your bank is located in a SEPA-supported country
  • Check that your account accepts EUR payments

You can validate your details using:

BACS (GBP payments)

For UK payments via BACS, you must provide:

  • Account number
  • Sort code

Before submitting:

  • Use the correct 6-digitsort code format, with no spaces or symbols unless specified
  • Ensure your account is a UK-based GBP account
  • Confirm that your bank accepts BACS transfers

You can validate your details using:

ACH (USD payments)

For ACH transfers, you must provide:

  • Account number
  • ABA routing number (ACH routing number): A 9-digit code used by US banks to process domestic transfers.

Before submitting:

  • Do not provide a wire routing number
  • Confirm your account is a US-based USD account
  • Confirm your bank supports ACH payments

If you do not own a US bank account, ACH cannot be used and you will need to select a different payment method. ACH cannot be used without a US bank account.

You can validate your details using:

Important: You must use the ACH-specific ABA routing number. Using the wrong routing number is one of the most common causes of failed ACH payments.

Domestic transfers (local currency)

Domestic payments are available for selected currencies, including: CHF, DKK, NOK, PLN, and SEK.

For these payments, provide:

  • IBAN
  • BIC/SWIFT code

Before submitting:

  • Ensure your bank account is based in the same country and currency
  • Enter all details exactly as provided by your bank

You can validate your details using:

International payments (Payoneer)

If your payment cannot be processed via SEPA, BACS, ACH, or domestic methods, it will be processed through Payoneer.

Payoneer supports international transfers based on your country and bank setup, using either local currency transfers or international wire (SWIFT). To learn more, see Payments through Payoneer – FAQs.

To avoid issues:

  • Complete your Payoneer registration through Awin
  • Ensure your bank details in Payoneer are accurate and up to date

Tips to avoid errors

  • Copy your details directly from your banking app instead of entering them manually
  • Avoid using browser autofill, as it may insert outdated or incorrect information

To understand which payment method is most suitable to you, see What are the available payment methods?

Note: The Partner Success team cannot verify or validate the accuracy of your bank details. Your bank is the best source to confirm that your information is correct and compatible with the selected payment method.
