How can I resolve payment delays with my advertiser?

Long delays in earnings moving from ‘Approved’ to ‘Payable' may indicate that the advertiser has not yet paid Awin.

Securing timely payments from advertisers is essential to making sure you receive the earnings you’ve already had approved. Awin actively manages advertiser payments through the following process:

  • Invoicing: Awin Account Managers and the Credit Control team issue invoices and send payment reminders when amounts are due.
  • Programme restriction: If an invoice remains unpaid for more than 35 days, Awin restricts the advertiser’s programme and issues a final notice.
  • Programme closure: After 60 days of non-payment, Awin begins the process of closing the advertiser’s programme.
  • Collection agency: If the payment is still outstanding after 75 days, Awin escalates the case to a collection agency to recover the funds.

Awin also provides tools to help you assess payment risk and avoid potential delays. For more information, see What does the Traffic Light in the Advertiser Payment Status mean?

Important: If your earnings remain in ‘Approved’ status for more than 90 days, you can contact the Partner Success team using the Contact us button below. A member of the team will investigate the clearing process with the advertiser.

If your earnings show as ‘Payable’ but you have not received payment, see Why haven't I received my payment: Troubleshooting Payment Delays.
