How can I resolve payment delays with my advertiser?

Long delays in payments moving from your 'Approved & Uncleared' balance to 'Approved & Cleared' may indicate the advertiser hasn't paid Awin yet.

Securing timely payments from advertisers is not just Awin’s financial obligation; it’s crucial for maintaining trust and ensuring you receive the commissions you’ve earned. The following process ensures advertisers pay promptly and in full:

  • Invoicing: Account Managers and the Credit Control team swiftly issue invoices and send reminders to advertisers when payments are due.
  • Program Restriction: If an invoice remains overdue for more than 35 days, Awin restricts the advertiser’s program and issues a final notice.
  • Program Closure: After 60 days of non-payment, Awin initiates the process of closing the advertiser’s program.
  • Collection Agency: If the payment remains unpaid after 75 days, Awin escalates the matter to a collection agency to recover the funds.

Awin also offers several tools to help you manage risk and avoid payment delays. To explore these tools in more detail, see What does the Traffic Light in the Advertiser Payment Status mean?

Important: If your 'Approved & Uncleared' balance remains for over 90 days, you can contact the Partner Success team using the button below, and a member of the team will investigate the clearing process.

If you have balance under 'Approved & Cleared' but have not received payment, see Why haven't I received my payment: Troubleshooting Payment Delays.
